
Toasted Gnocchi
This Toasted Gnocchi recipe makes the perfect anytime snack! It is delightfully crunchy and flavorful. One of the best parts is that it is oven-baked instead of fried in artery-clogging oil.
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes (+ time to cook gnocchi)
Ingredients:
3 Tbsp. Journey Spice Co. Organic Pizza Seasoning (more or less depending on preference).
1 16 oz. package of potato gnocchi
1 cup bread crumbs
3/4 cup flour
3 large eggs or about 8-9 Tbsp. egg substitute
2 tsp. ground black pepper
Extra virgin olive oil spray
Marinara sauce or other sauce of choice for serving
Optional: Pinch of salt
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Cook the gnocchi as directed on the package, drain it, and let it cool.
- Place flour in a small bowl.
- Beat eggs in another bowl.
- Add the bread crumbs, Journey Spice Co. Organic Pizza Seasoning, and black pepper in another bowl and stir until blended.
- Spray a large oven-safe pan with extra virgin olive oil spray and set aside.
- Coat the gnocchi in small batches in the flour, then the eggs, and then the breadcrumb mixture. Place the coated gnocchi on the oven-safe pan.
- When you have finished coating all the gnocchi and placed it on the oven-safe pan, bake it for 20 minutes, let it cool a few minutes and enjoy!
