Roasted Asparagus Recipe

This savory side dish goes great with fish, chicken, and hearty pasta main dishes. The parmesan cheese is optional and is still delicious without it.

2 tsp. Journey Spice Co. Organic Greek Citrus Rub

1 bunch of asparagus spears, ends trimmed

1½ Tbsp. Parmesan cheese, grated (optional)

1½ Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil


  1. Heat your oven to 425°F.
  2. Place the asparagus in a mixing bowl.
  3. Drizzle the asparagus in the extra virgin olive oil, parmesan cheese, and Journey Spice Co. Organic Greek Citrus Rub and coat the asparagus evenly in this mixture.
  4. Arrange the asparagus in a single layer onto a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes.
