Moroccan Chicken Wings

These Moroccan Chicken Wings are perfect for game day, movie nights, or whenever! They make an exciting alternative to traditional BBQ wings!

Prep Time: 10 minutes (+ extra time if you want to marinate the chicken)

Cook Time: 30-40 minutes

Ingredients:

3 Tbsp. Journey Spice Co. Organic Moroccan Spice Rub (more or less depending on preference).

1 1/2 lb. chicken wings

Juice from lemon

2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil

Extra virgin olive oil spray

1 1/2 Tbsp. honey

Optional: Pinch of salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Mix together the Journey Spice Co. Organic Moroccan Spice Rub, juice from a lemon, extra virgin olive oil, and honey in a large bowl.
  3. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and fully coat each chicken wing in the mixture.
  4. Place the chicken wings in your refrigerator if you are marinating them. This is optional, and some people prefer to marinate meat for a few hours or overnight to enhance the flavor.
  5. Spray an oven-safe pan with extra virgin olive oil spray and place the chicken wings on the pan.
  6. Bake the chicken wings for at least 30 minutes (until there is no obvious blood). Cooking time will vary depending on how thawed the chicken is.
