Greek Vinaigrette Salad Dressing Recipe
This Greek Vinaigrette Salad Dressing Recipe is an excellent way to reap the healthy benefits of extra virgin olive oil. This versatile recipe combines cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, black olives, and feta cheese for a more traditional Greek salad. It also makes a great marinade for chicken, fish, and tofu and is a great addition to pasta salads. In addition, as this recipe contains no dairy products, it can be used in vegan-friendly and plant-based recipes.
Ingredients:
2 Tbsp. Journey Spice Co. Organic Mediterranean Herb Blend
1 cup extra virgin olive oil
4 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
Juice from 1 lemon
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tsp. Dijon mustard
Directions:
- “Bloom” the Journey Spice Co. Organic Mediterranean Herb Blend and minced garlic by sautéing it in a small sauce pan over medium heat for one minute.
- Cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice from both sides of the lemon in a jar.
- Add the rest of the ingredients in the jar, seal with a lid and shake the jar for about a minute until ingredients are thoroughly mixed.
- Store in a sealed container in your refrigerator and enjoy within 7 days.
