Baked Za’atar Pita Chips

These Baked Za’atar Pita Chips are so easy to make and require only a few ingredients, including our Organic Za’atar.

Prep Time: About 5 minutes

Cook Time: 8-10 minutes

Ingredients:

2-3 Tbsp. Journey Spice Co. Organic Za’atar

4 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil

2 pita flatbreads

Optional: 1-2 pinches of salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Gently cut the pita open along the edge to create two rounds. Repeat with the second pita.
  3. Combine the Organic Za’atar and extra virgin olive oil in a bowl. Evenly spread the mixture on the pitas.
  4. Cut the pitas like you would pizza with a pizza cutter.
  5. Spread the pita pieces on a cookie sheet, making sure they don’t overlap.
  6. Bake for about 8-10 minutes, until the edges are golden and crunchy.
  7. Serve with hummus, yogurt dips, or other favorite dips.
