Chickpea Wraps

These Chickpea Wraps are so easy to make and super healthy, too! They feature our Organic Moroccan Spice Rub for some tasty Middle Eastern flair.

Prep Time: About 5 minutes

Cook Time: 7 minutes

Ingredients:

1 Tbsp. Journey Spice Co. Organic Moroccan Spice Rub (more or less if preferred)

2 large tortillas

15.5 oz. can of chickpeas/garbanzo beans

6 romaine lettuce leaves

1/2 cup shredded carrots

1/4 cup sliced red onions

4 Tbsp. hummus

1/2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil

Optional: Red chili flakes if more heat is desired, pinch of salt

Directions:

  1. Drain the chickpeas.
  2. Turn your stove to medium heat and pour in the extra virgin olive oil.
  3. Add the chickpeas and cook for 5 minutes, stirring every minute to evenly brown. Add 2 tsp. of the Journey Spice Co. Organic Moroccan Spice Rub, stir, and cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Spread the hummus evenly on the tortillas and sprinkle the remaining 1 tsp. of Journey Spice Co. Organic Moroccan Spice Rub. Add the romaine lettuce, chickpeas, carrots, and red onions. Wrap the ingredients and enjoy!
